I’m thrilled to be named as one of the 2017 recipients of the Alden Kindred Speak Award to be held on Thursday, June 8, at the Duxbury Maritime Academy.
The Speak Award honors women who, in the spirit of Pilgrim Priscilla Mullins Alden, have prompted extraordinary outcomes by speaking up on behalf of themselves or others. Candidates were selected for outstanding civic contributions and have been instrumental in changing the lives they touch for the better. I’m proud to share the stage with Cara Belvin of empowerHER, Deb Samuels of Crossroads for Kids and Duxbury High School’s Siobhan Tierney.
