Spring is right around the corner – which means an abundance of local 5Ks in the Boston area. Signing up for your local road race can be a great way to kick start your 2018 running goals in a fun, less intimidating fashion.

When it comes to training, consistency is key. Start slow with short jogs a few times per week. Use a running app to track your progress and keep increasing your distance and speed as the weeks go by.
