Chef Andrea Schnell recently returned from Italy, where she went to get menu inspiration for her new restaurant, Sorelle. Schnell traveled to Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Piscara, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast to sample the best of Italian cuisine to bring back home.
The name Sorelle is the Italian word for sisters. Schnell finds rich meaning in her sisterhood and shared life experiences with the strong women in her family, notably her mother, sister, wife and two daughters.
Sorelle is scheduled to open in Abington, MA, in first quarter of 2017, when remodeling of the old Vin & Eddie’s Ristorante is complete.
