This year marks 250 years since The Battle of Bunker Hill took place on June 17, 1775 early on in the nine-month-long Siege of Boston during the American Revolutionary War.
To honor the semiquincentennial, this year’s Bunker Hill Parade steps off on Saturday, June 14 at 12:30 p.m. on Vine Street in Charlestown – led by the 2025 Chief Marshall: Sergeant 1st Class Jamie Chambers, of the Massachusetts National Guard.
The event, which began in 1786 (to celebrate the completion of the Charlestown Bridge), spans commemoration and celebration; it ranks among one of the longest-standing parades in the United States.
