Flag garden to bloom in Boston from May 22-27

by The 100 Companies

A garden of stars and stripes is slated to bloom beginning on Wednesday, May 22, and the public is invited to help create the city’s iconic Memorial Day Flag Garden tribute.

In keeping with tradition, more than 37,000 American flags will be “planted” at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument to honor each of the Massachusetts service members who gave their life in service to our country since the Revolutionary War.

This project, made possible by Home Base and Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund, is a breathtaking tribute to the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Register today to help “plant” on May 22.
