Summer Concert Prep

With summer coming, it’s time for a series of Boston-area concerts, including Coldplay, U2 and Kenny Chesney at Gillette; Billy Joel and Florida Georgia Line at Fenway; and other headliner shows.

If you’re going to a show, take more than your ticket:

• Comfortable shoes – forget style. You’ll be on your feet more than expected.
• Layers – for day-to-night festivities, account for changing weather.
• Fluids – bring or buy ‘em, but stay hydrated with something non-alcoholic.
• Venue knowledge – what’s permissible to bring inside?

Finally, ride-hailing apps like Lyft or Uber are essential — make sure your phone is charged!
