It’s almost fall, which means pumpkin spice everything, crisp air, boots, football and apple picking.
While everyone will likely be making caramel apples and apple pies, I have a healthier way to use those freshly picked fruits that is great for family parties or football tailgates.
Chips and dip can be one of the least healthy and highly caloric snacks, so this recipe uses fresh Granny Smith apple slices as the “chips” for a dip of roasted red peppers and PDO Asiago cheese. Apples are stock-full of health benefits – fighting heart disease and aiding weight loss – while tasting delicious!
