Long-Awaited Eataly Arrives in Boston

by

Italian foodies must visit the Prudential Center to experience the 45,000-square-foot Eataly, which opened to the public post-Thanksgiving.

I recently joined my colleagues for a relaxed lunch at La Pizza & La Pasta where we enjoyed fresh pasta dishes: one shrimp, one Bolognese, a Neapolitan pizza (cooked in 90 seconds), a fresh meat and cheese platter and flavorful salad.

The trick is to be there early to avoid long lunchtime lines and in keeping our experience authentic, we were drinking a Brunello Sangiovese wine by 11:30, but in Italy it would have been 5:30 – cheers!
