Everyone can benefit from a little more confidence. I have learned that confidence comes from experience. Trying something new and different can be nerve-wracking, but experience can calm your fears. Follow these tips to build your self-confidence:
• Exercise. Working out boosts your mood, transforms the body and enhances confidence.
• Take care of yourself. Don’t feel guilty about taking time to pamper yourself, whether that means putting on makeup or buying an outfit that makes you feel good.
• Accept compliments.
• Change your vocabulary. Be mindful of what you are saying to yourself – what you focus on is what shows.
