Former New England Patriot Matt Light’s nonprofit, the Light Foundation, will have 10 runners in the 121st Boston Marathon, thanks to a partnership with the John Hancock Nonprofit Program. “Team Speed of Light” will cross the finish line on Monday, April 17.
To celebrate, Light is hosting a fundraiser at Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Foxboro’s Patriot Place on Thursday, March 2. The night will feature special guests from the world of running and the NFL, including 98.5 The Sports Hub radio personality Scott Zolak. They’ll talk football and the Patriots’ recent run towards Super Bowl LI in Houston, TX.
