Library Lion takes to the stage

by The 100 Companies

Following its September 2024 premiere (as a site-specific production at the Boston Public Library), “Library Lion” the musical play returns to Beantown for 10 kid-friendly performances at Calderwood Pavilion (527 Tremont St.) Jan. 10-19.

Join in what’s sure to be a roaring good time as the cast – featuring five actors, three musicians and a trio of puppeteers operating a puppet designed by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop – brings one of Time Magazine’s 100 Best Children’s Books of All Time to life in a 70-minute show suitable for rule followers ages 4+.

Will Miss Merriweather, head librarian, approve? We certainly hope so.
