Brand ambassador programs are catching on. However, rather than selecting a few influencers with high followings to promote their product or service, brands are taking another approach: building brand ambassador armies.
Social media accounts ranging from below 1,000 followers to over 100,000 followers are all participating in ambassador programs. Brands will offer ambassadors small prizes, exclusive discounts and other incentives to promote the brand in posts and stories a minimum number of times per month.
To manage the “army” of ambassadors, brands are using platforms like these to make the influencer management and outreach process simple and effective.
