With the wrath of Harvey and Irma hitting hard, Americans are looking for ways to help those impacted by the storms. One of the best ways to help is through the American Red Cross.

Did you know every 8 minutes the Red Cross responds to an emergency? In 2016, it provided 4.1 million snacks, 2.1 million relief items, 206,000 overnight stays and 144,000 health and mental-health consultations.

Nearly 64,000 disasters are responded to annually, 95% of relief workers are volunteers and 91 cents of every dollar goes to humanitarian services and programs. Donate here.
