During one of my recent stone buying trips, my guide took a hard left off the trail, promising something wonderful awaited us. Hiking in the middle of nowhere, my human interaction with prehistoric footprints was about to merge. Unknown to me, dinosaur tracks are the official state fossil of Massachusetts.
Feeling both awe and the burden of climate change while following in the footsteps of mighty giants, I came away with a stronger commitment to the health of our amazing planet. It was an unforgettable stone experience, and I’m honored to be able to preserve these treasures for future generations.
