Established in 1976, NEADS provides world class service dogs to help change lives. They’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering the widest array of service dog programs in the industry. Annually, NEADS trains and places over 40 dogs to help:
• Provide independence and companionship when matched with people who are deaf or have physical disabilities or to help veterans who experience PTSD from service.
• Promote confidence and socialization when matched with children who have autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Provide integrated therapeutic assistance when matched with caring professionals in settings like classrooms, hospitals, courthouses, mental health practices and the ministry.
