Is it bad that I still reminisce about a “fling” I had before I “met” my Genesis G70?
In 2016 I had the enormous privilege of driving one of the very first Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglios to arrive from Cassino, Italy. The moment I gripped the alcantara-laden steering wheel I could hear an Italian lute playing as the car whispered vai veloce. And thanks to a Ferrari-made V6 we began carving through lakeside canyons like a hot knife through carbonara.
I was utterly entranced, but an $80,000 price tag (and concerning reliability reports) drove me back to more conservative brands.
