When you search “things to do in Portland,” you’ll frequently notice the same places – Voodoo Doughnut, the International Rose Test Garden, Powell’s City of Books, etc. I wanted to share some inside information from my recent trip.
Food:
• Afuri: The first U.S. location of this Japanese ramen restaurant.
• Lardo: This sandwich shop is an amazing ode to pork.
To do:
• Shanghai Tunnel Tours: There’s a secret history underneath Portland’s streets.
• Japanese Garden: The foliage and bonsai trees are beautiful and the garden is very peaceful.
Coffee:
• Tiny’s: This coffee shop had a cool vibe, friendly staff and great coffee.
