In an entrepreneur coaching group, we are talking about the biggest productivity obstacles. We came to a consensus that urgent interruptions leave us feeling like we are playing a game of “whack-a-mole” to respond to pressing issues.
The average employee is distracted every three minutes. If you consider it takes about 23 minutes to refocus after an interruption, it’s no wonder we’re exhausted.
While you can’t get rid of all interruptions, you can try to remove the easy and annoying distractions. I’m working on closing the 30-40 Google Chrome tabs that are regularly open on my computer. What about you?
