Celebrating Mardi Gras in the city!

mask
Even if you can't make it to New Orleans this year, you can still celebrate!

This year’s Mardi Gras, or “Fat Tuesday,” was Feb. 13 in New Orleans, marking the last day of a Carnival season of celebrations down south. Didn’t make the trip? Why not don your purple, green and gold right here in Boston.

– Throw your own Fat Tuesday dance party with a healthy mixture of jazz, blues and Cajun music.

– Deck yourself out in some colorful beads or a masquerade costume!

– Make big easy cocktails like ramos gin fizz or the hurricane cocktail.

– Whip up a delicious king cake, the traditional Mardi Gras dessert. They don’t call it Fat Tuesday for nothin’!

– Devin Thompson, Goodwin Group PR
