Is your job killing you? Office wellness for health

Wellness in the office is important. With so much sitting and screen time, we need to make sure we take breaks for our health.
Is your job killing you? Office wellness for health

Is your job killing you? According to the Annals of Internal Medicine, sitting for long periods can be a risk factor for early death. Move every 30 minutes.

Align your eyes with your computer monitor, or risk excess neck strain, disc herniation and headaches. Consider a standing desk.

Too much screen time? Everything from cyber sickness, text claw, eye strain and overeating is attributed. Detox often.

Good news: Corporate wellness programs are shifting from smoking cessation and weight loss to caring for the whole person. New initiatives focus on workplace design, employee engagement and development classes – attractive for job seekers.
