The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) hosts an annual sports-oriented fundraising dinner event, Muscle Team. The proceeds from Muscle Team go to MDA’s local programs and services to end muscular dystrophy. Its programs support hospital clinics, research and summer camps for kids.
The Muscle Team Gala includes a cocktail reception and a seated dinner program with live and silent auctions full of luxurious items. The gala hosts over 400 guests, some of which are members of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
In 2019, Muscle Team will be hosted on March 28 at the Westin Boston Waterfront.
