The 26th Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk took place in Boston on Sunday, Sept. 30. The event featured various vendors and guest speakers at the Hatch Shell before walkers embarked on a 2-mile or 6-mile scenic course around the river.

Teams of cheerleaders kept spirits high as the sea of pink made its way to the finish line.

This year’s event brought in nearly 30,000 supporters, cancer patients, survivors and loved ones hoping to make an impact. So far, more than $1.5 million has been raised in support of the American Cancer Society.
