Nonprofit spotlight: Dress for Success Boston

by
Dress for Success Boston

In honor of National Secondhand Wardrobe Day on Aug. 25, we wanted to spotlight a local nonprofit organization called Dress for Success Boston. Founded in 2001 by Nancy Schneider and Enith Levine, Dress for Success works with local impoverished women to provide them with the professional attire they need to secure employment.

In addition to providing donated clothing, Dress for Success is committed to helping these women achieve economic independence through leadership programs and financial planning. With the help of corporate partners, local donors and referral agencies, the nonprofit has served over 12,000 women in the last 15 years.
