The Bill Belichick Foundation distributed over $300K in grants and scholarships in 2016 to deserving student athletes and athletic organizations, cheered on its first Boston Marathon team, which raised nearly $70K, and teamed up with STX, a global sporting goods leader, to donate $20,000 in new lacrosse equipment to schools nationwide in need of new gear.
In early 2017, the Foundation will be launching its 2017 grant and scholarship application. Applications will be available the last week in January on the website.
The Bill Belichick Foundation aims to provide coaching, mentorship and financial support to individuals, communities and organizations.
