Though it might be tough to imagine a room full of NFL players doing child’s pose, athletes who play contact sports put their bodies through great trauma and yoga elongates the muscles that have been contracted all day.

Learning to move with ease is a lifelong skill that will also help to strengthen cores and prevent back pain – something we all seem to battle as we age. There’s no reason not to try it.
