When dieting goes digital: MyFitnessPal review

by

A healthy lifestyle always starts with proper diet and exercise. Though it sounds simple, many people have no idea what a nutritious diet really is. Thankfully, our electronics can help.

One of my favorite apps is MyFitnessPal – a no-cost online calorie counter where you can import recipes or scan bar codes to track food and nutrient intake. Premium users can set their own macros, too.

Personally, I’ve synced my app with my Fitbit to compare the number of calories I’m burning against my calorie intake. To promote weight loss, having a caloric deficit of 400-500 calories is ideal.
