Juuling – New Form of Vaping Hooking Kids

A young teen smoking

Recently, an article in The Boston Globe by Beth Teitell highlighted a disturbing new phenomenon among teens – Juuling, a discreet form of vaping rampant in high schools that’s causing concern among parents, teachers and administrators. The nicotine in just one of these e-cigarette pods contains the same amount as a full pack of cigarettes.

The device is easy to hide and can be disguised as a Sharpie or thumb-drive, helping it avoid detection. Kids like the appealing flavors: mango, fruit medley, mint and crème brulee. The sweet odor can smell like perfume, making it harder to detect.
