Happy New Year, everyone! As a nutritionist I spend much of my time researching food, and I want to share some food trends I can see impacting 2018:
Plant-based food: Out with the paleo, bacon and fat-laden foods, and in with the pea protein, veggies and nut milks! Plants, fresh fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds and grains will thrive in 2018. Remember to take B12 when eating more plant-based.
Cleaner food: We’ll see more products with whole ingredients that are clearly labeled.
Flowers and spices: Think lavender lattes and spices – especially from the Middle East. #Spiceitup this year!
