The first-ever Beantown Beanfest will be held June 24, 2023, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on the Rose Kennedy Greenway.
The inaugural event aims to support the Equalizer Institute, a social economic justice initiative of the New England Legal Foundation. The Equalizer Institute will provide free civil legal aid to entrepreneurs of underrepresented communities who want to start their own businesses.
Beantown Beanfest will feature food vendors, live music, crafts and bean-themed games. Partnering with the Greater Boston Food Bank – New England’s largest hunger relief organization – the festival will collect non-perishable food items and give back to the community.
