Nestled in the Berkshires is a place for music lovers to enjoy spirited summer concerts and great views. Tanglewood has 210 green acres and receives 350,000 visitors each year.
Although it began as a classical music venue, today, Tanglewood serves many genres including rock, pop and jazz – this summer will see the likes of James Taylor, Sting, Diana Ross and Melissa Etheridge.
Although the venue is a little drive from Boston, the music and environment are worth the trip! Get there early, and explore the grounds and history before enjoying wine and cheese or a picnic on the lawn.
