Boston may not join the ranks of Milan or Paris as a fashion capital of the world any time soon, but our city’s fashion industry is indeed lively – thanks in part to Boston Fashion Week, now in its 25th year.
BFW provides a platform for local designers to showcase their clothing and expand their industry network. Any and all designers can submit their show to appear on the official BFW schedule. Once their show’s approved, they are responsible for all aspects of their own event production.
This year’s fashion week takes place Sept. 22-28, and the schedule will be released Sept. 6.
