Entertaining characters? Check. Unique story line? Check. Vivid details? Check. The list goes on with “Ready Player One.” This futuristic society is dominated by the OASIS – an online program where people interact via their avatars. The book follows characters as they partake in a treasure hunt to find the OASIS founders’ fortune.
So, which is better – the book or the movie? I choose the book. This doesn’t mean the movie is bad, because it was great. But when comparing the two, the book offers FAR more detail and allows a deeper connection with the characters, which is typically the case.
