What have you been up to?

I am booked solid, straight through to next year. I just finished taping for Food Network’s “The Great Food Truck Race.”

What is the hardest part about breaking into the comedy scene?

The hardest part is just trying to be seen, and more importantly, heard.

Favorite local gig?

I have to say, doing Denis Leary’s Comics Come Home for the Neely Foundation was amazing.

Advice for young female comedians?

Connect with other comics and support each other, especially woman-to-woman. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my husband, Jimmy Hurley.
