1700s reenactments

The third Monday of April each year marks Patriots’ Day, commemorating the battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775. Lest memories of these important battles be forgotten, reenactments around Massachusetts take us back to experience the “shot heard round the world” and surrounding events.

Attend a 5:30 a.m. Lexington battle reenactment at Lexington Battle Green or a reenactment of the North Bridge fight beginning at 8:45 a.m. in Concord followed by a parade.

Find other events and more details here. A personal favorite is seeing Paul Revere’s capture at Minute Man National Historical Park in Lincoln.
