Mint Matcha Palmer: The Perfect Summer Cocktail

by Michael Polzella

East meets west in this Japanese-inspired riff on a classic Arnold Palmer. Light, refreshing, perfect for Summer and arguably “healthy.”

The Japanese are known for their low-proof spirits. This recipe uses a local vodka that is lighter in alcohol and calories with none of the boozy burn. To make matcha syrup, add ½ ounce of green tea matcha to your standard simple syrup recipe.

Mint Matcha Palmer

1 1/2 ounces KEEL vodka

3 ounces organic limeade

1/2 ounce matcha syrup

5 mint leaves

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Fine strain and garnish with fresh mint.
