National Nutrition Month

by Michael Polzella

As you may know, March is National Nutrition Month. This year’s theme is “Put Your Best Fork Forward.”

What does this look like on a daily basis? A nutritious diet mostly consists of plants, fruits, nuts, beans and fish with a limited amount of red meat and oil. Beyond that, it means portion control and consistently making good choices. It’s a simple concept that can be challenging to execute.

The first few weeks are the most difficult. After that, you will feel great! Let’s put our best fork forward by making sure we’re mindful of what we eat every month.
