The Beanpot is almost here!

Although February’s main attraction is the Super Bowl, especially when our New England Patriots are in it once again, the Beanpot gets plenty of attention around Boston.

Aside from the Frozen Four, college hockey’s March Madness, the Beanpot displays some of the best college hockey talent as area rivals Boston University, Harvard University, Northeastern University and Boston College all face off.

Last year, Harvard took home their 11th title, winning the championship game 6-3 over Boston University. With Northeastern ranked 8th in the men’s ice hockey standings and Boston College ranked 16th, we should see a really interesting tournament!
