The Boston Portuguese Festival is excited to return to City Hall Plaza to celebrate the Day of Portugal, Camões, and the Portuguese Communities with the Portuguese-American community of Boston, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and New England.
Heritage
The festival is known for showcasing the best of local and internationally-renowned Portuguese cuisine and entertainment, as well as participation by local Portuguese-American social and cultural organizations. This is a great opportunity to win some prizes at many raffle stands.
Entertainment
This year’s program will include a diversity of performances on the Main Stage. From fado to Portuguese folk music, including many well-known performers from Portugal and from the local community. They will keep you dancing until the end of the day
Gastronomy
Portuguese gastronomy is one of the highlights of our festival with the presence of many local restaurants. At the food tents (tasquinhas) you can try a traditional bifana or a pastel de nata and many other traditional Portuguese dishes. Not forgetting the wine & beer garden.
