Help pets adjust to back to work

by The 100 Companies

Pets thrive on routine (even notoriously independent cats) and after months of acclimating to owners at home all day, many are now struggling with disruptions to those routines as owners head back to the office.

In the weeks prior, owners can gradually create a new routine by leaving the house, even for a brief period, each day. This helps pets understand that when you leave, you will return.

To help calm them, go for a walk or play an interactive game with them before leaving. While gone, leave background noise on – the TV, an audiobook, podcast or even soothing music.
